Cultural Universalism and Technical Globalization
Keywords:
Cultural Universalism, Globalization, techniqueAbstract
The modern thought developed a positivistic and scientific form of the “instrumental universalism”: to know to dominate the forces of the nature and the human powers. Here, we discuss the proposal of a “cultural universalism” that seeks to overcome the apparent contradictions among an universal idea that arises from a concrete cultural reality and the universal consolidation of its project. We sketch this way, along this brief reflection, a critic of the outline of the technological rationality from an intercultural and openly universal perspective.
