The citizen and his publical condition

An approach to the arendtien conception of the public space

Abstract

This paper pretends to recreate the notion of citizen that appears sketched in some of the most relevant works of Hannah Arendt. That’s why we have restored the Arendts categories of conscious pariah, hero and reflexive spectator. This reconstruction of citizen’s concept offers us a new view of the public space notion as a space of appearences and comun world.
