The central point of the question is to clarify what these rules are. Accordingly, the author demonstrates that the study of CS in historical texts, using the Matrix Language Frame Model, can be an important source of information for resolving the question.
Taking Días de odio, the first adaptation that Leopoldo Torre Nilsson (Argentina) made in 1954, as a reference point, this essay aims to examine how and why its author wrote the short story in such a way that, 75 years later, it continues to provoke discussions and literary as well as cinematic interpretations. One of the most important conclusions is that since its au- thor was imbued with ideas and influenced by the way movies are made, what we have are possible readings, but not certainties. That is why getting lost in the translation between the written text and our own sensibilities as readers can only have one solution: continued reading.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/92 Cognitive functions of semiosis and signs 2023-12-06T02:38:48+00:00 Arturo Morales Campos Karina Lizeth Chávez Rojas
This paper focuses on explaining the function of three central factors, which belong to semiotics: the substitutive function, the semiosic function and the recursive function. Semiotics is a theo- retical perspective that allows the approach of diverse elements of the Universe, or sign-ob- jects, with the purpose of generating cogniti- ve models that explain, in some way, the way these elements function to produce knowledge; provided, of course, that a subject (human or animal) comes into contact with them. This functioning, that is, the activation of cognitive structures (biological and cultural) as soon as the cognizing subject comes into contact with the object-sign, requires, in turn, the activation of, at least, the three factors we will address.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/93 Sublime Horror as a byproduct of Kegare in Sekiro. Said videogame presents concepts of a philosophical-religious nature, closely related to the Japanese mythical imaginary in a very subtle way in the videogame format, making them readily accessible to the mass culture due to its immediate and easy-access format.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/95 The Senate before the suppression and restitution of the territory of QuintanaRoo, 1924-1935 2023-12-06T03:24:44+00:00 Justo Miguel Flores Escalante
The objective of this work is to observe the confrontations and coincidences of the federal government with the authorities of Campeche and Yucatán, with respect to the constitutional reforms to modify, annex, suppress or res- tore the territory of Quintana Roo from 1924 to 1935. We will highlight the pressures of the representatives of the states in the Senate and the leading role that this body plays as faithful of the balance. Inside the Upper House, it can be seen that the president’s strength is not ab- solute and that the requests of governments and state power groups are weighed against the interest of the other federated states and their representatives.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/49 A historical look at the first Vehicle Verification Program in the State of Michoacán (2005) 2023-01-11T23:07:59+00:00 Guillermo Fernando Rodríguez Herrejón rodriguezherrejongf@gmail.com
Today the large number of motor vehicles glo- bally has caused various environmental pro- blems of air pollution, but for decades there have also been prevention strategies to try to curb the negative consequences of toxic fumes. The methodology used consists of processing information from the Censo Nacional de Go- biernos Municipales y Delegacionales 2017 of the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geo- grafía (INEGI), which allowed the generation of a Municipal Electronic Government Index (IGEM) for each of the municipalities.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/40 Español 2022-10-23T17:02:21+00:00 Rebeca Aneli Rueda Jasso rebeca.rueda@umich.mx María Eugenia Romero Olvera
Gender parity (PG) emerged as a political strategy to respond to inequities among women (M) and men (H) regarding their participation into the public space and leadership positions. It aims to ensure a balanced participation in all areas of society, particularly in decision-making. Within the university, this involves that men and women must have the same opportunities to access any program and academic level, as well positions of popular representation. However, the cultural conception represented and reinforced by stereotypes, still is guiding and limiting the decisions of men and women. Making these inequities visible is a first step, to later promote strategies that allow the transition to equity. Therefore, the objective of this work was to make a first diagnosis that evidences the inequities on the students (proportions of M and H at different levels of education), cleaning and administrative workers (disaggregated proportions), professors and managerial staff (from the variables of maximum degree of studies and recognitions) in some dependencies of Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH). To do this, through a quantitative approach, a field study was conducted and information was collected from 11 dependencies of the university, for their descriptive and critical analysis. The results show that undergraduate students have a greater participation of women, although the area of engineering is mainly selected by men, this trend is maintained even in postgraduate courses. Areas such as Engineering are masculinized and bachelor´s degree in Letters or Psychology and Administrative Sciences are feminized. In relation to managerial positions, there is a trend towards a greater presence of men with few exceptions in some faculty. This diagnosis is a starting point to propose strategies that allow greater equity among the members of the UMSNH community, which serve as references to make this equity extended to society.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/59 Reflections on the approaches in the definition of cultural heritage 2023-03-08T00:06:03+00:00 Maria Antonieta Jimenez Izarraraz ajimenez@colmich.edu.mx
The way in which heritage is understood affects practices that directly affect it. Dialogue at the academic level, especially when it finds ways to be received among non-academics, can streng- then inertia towards ways of thinking and acting linked to heritage in at least two ways. In this document I propose to return to the reflection on what we call cultural heritage, referring to two large groups of definitions that are usually used to refer to it, as a prelude to reflection on the implications of its adoption. In the end, I present a third sense towards which some defini- tions have been directed in recent years, which possibly, without considering it as an objective, is proposing to integrate components that are present in the two initial paradigms.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Maria Antonieta Jimenez Izarraraz https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/63 Intercultural heritage interpretation 2023-03-21T21:52:26+00:00 Manuel Gándara Vázquez manuel_gandara_v@encrym.edu.mx
There is a current discussion about the need for the concept of heritage to include those cultural manifestations that are recognized not only by national or international authorities, but by the local communities themselves. If heritage interpretation is a way of translating the specialist’s language to the language of the general public, a question arises: what happens when the values involved are already recognized and understood by the local communities? Is heritage interpretation then redundant or superfluous? In the text I claim that heritage interpretation continues to be indispensable, if these communities intend to share their heritage with the other publics, particularly when that heritage will receive international visitors.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Manuel Gándara Vázquez https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/58 Documentary heritage from a different archival perspective 2023-03-07T23:45:28+00:00 Yaminel Bernal Astorga ybernal@enesmorelia.unam.mx
The purpose of this work is to generate a starting point that allows us to reflect on how to situate a renewed and interpretive archiving of documentary heritage, it is given new meaning, in such a way that it can be appropriated by an audience. It is an interdisciplinary exercise that recovers tools from communication and anthropology, it goes beyond considering activities such as exhibitions, guided tours, conferences or publications. We establish that the documentary heritage matters to the people if the question is answered: what do I have to do with this? Therefore, we see it necessary to reconsider the message and the way in which archivists present, communicate and share the heritage in their different materials.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Yaminel Bernal Astorga https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/55 Artificial Intelligence and cultural heritage: an approach from the Digital Humanities 2023-03-03T22:04:58+00:00 Luis Miguel García-Velázquez luism_garcia@enesmorelia.unam.mx
A panoramic vision of Artificial Intelligence applications in the cultural heritage sector is presented. These are organized in three groups: (1) digital documentation and conservation of sculptural and architectural heritage, (2) management, dissemination and study of digital collections based on the enrichment of their metadata and the interaction with the communities interested in them, and (3) interdisciplinary research approaches that use machine learning tools to perform macroscopic readings of large sets of artistic works, extending the methodologies of image studies. This approach uses the Digital Humanities as a starting point to propose routes to face the challenges experienced by cultural institutions in the horizon of possibilities described.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Luis Miguel García-Velázquez https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/61 Heritage knowledge that is not seen. The case of the production of amaranth sweets in the south of Mexico City 2023-03-24T01:47:56+00:00 Magdalena Amalia García Sánchez magdalenaamalia@gmail.com
We have all eaten an amaranth bar at one time or another, because we have certainly heard of its benefits as food: it has fiber, a pleasant flavor, it is nutritious and, above all, cheap compared to other industrialized "foods". These bars are also sold practically everywher in Mexico City and other places of the Republic. In this text, it is worth asking, what is amaranth? since when is it consumed? who makes those bars? who told the producers that they would be a good business? With these questions in mind, this work has three goals; a) offer some answers to the questions indicated above; 2) offer some conceptual theoretical reflections on knowledge, cultural survival, traditions and heritage. Finally, show an example of the link between traditional knowledge, ethnographic research and its link with cultural heritage.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Magdalena Amalia García Sánchez https://www.publicaciones.umich.mx/revistas/dicere/ojs/article/view/54 Relations with time: heritage, history and memory in the 21st century. 2023-02-23T21:57:42+00:00 Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez López miguel.gutierrez@umich.mx Rogelio Everth Ruiz Ríos aukaroger@hotmail.com
The article proposes a critical vision of the Programa de Pueblos Mágicos based on the reflections that, on heritage, history, and memory, have been made by some specialists concerned with the knowledge and uses of the past. This program was implemented in Mexico starting in 2001 with the aim of promoting sustainable development in a group of populations that, due to their cultural characteristics, are valued as significant to the national imagination and that are considered to have the potential to attract local and international.

The text refers to the national and international context in which this program is adopted, and discussed the theoretical and ideological foundations that support it from the academic and political spheres. A critique of the patrimonialization policies supported by the Mexican state and the private initiative is made as a reflection of the adoption of global trends that have turned cultural heritage into consumption goods, whose function is to be marketed to respond to the needs of the tourist industry, leaving their character as carriers of identity and values in the background.
2023-12-06T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez López, Rogelio Everth Ruiz Ríos
