About the Journal

Devenires is an academic, refereed, open access philosophy journal published electronically on a semiannual basis (January and July) (ISSN-e 2395-9274).

Devenires accepts original research articles in Spanish or English, in addition to notes, translations, testimonies, interviews, obituaries and reviews that contribute to contemporary debates pertaining to all areas and traditions of philosophy. Although it is directed primarily to a philosophical audience, Devenires promotes transdisciplinarity.

Devenires is edited by Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo through its Facultad de Filosofía and Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas under an international Creative Commons Licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

Devenires has been published continuously since the year 2000.
